Get Longer Reads from your Direct RNA-Seq with UltraMarathonRT
This kit delivers >10% higher mapped reads from ≥ 2 kb RNAs. uMRT works at 30°C, which preserves the integrity of longer transcripts.
UltraMarathonRT delivers longer reads, higher yield, and superior isoform detection in Nanopore Direct RNA-Seq workflow.
As an exceptionally sensitive, helicase-driven enzyme, uMRT maintains continuous synthesis through structures, repetitive sequences, and modifications.
Become more confident in your detection of long transcripts, multiple isoforms, and modification analysis.
This kit delivers >10% higher mapped reads from ≥ 2 kb RNAs. uMRT works at 30°C, which preserves the integrity of longer transcripts.
UltraMarathonRT detects more isoforms per gene. Its intrinsic helicase activity unwinds RNA structures and enables full-length cDNA from each transcript.
Direct RNA Sequencing of Universal Human Reference RNA using uMRT and Induro. After down-sampling to an equal number of total reads, the reads were aligned using minimap2, and transcriptome models were generated using IsoQuant followed by curation using SQUANTI3. The SQUANTI3 analysis confirms that uMRT identifies more isoforms per gene compared to Induro.
Capture more of the sample. UltraMarathonRT’s optimized chemistry delivers higher cDNA yields for Direct RNA-Seq.
How uMRT Works - An Enzyme Engineered for Superior Processivity at Room Temperature
“Long-read sequencing technologies have the amazing ability to access the full span of transcripts that can be kilobases or more in length. Unfortunately, most reverse transcriptases don’t. This was really hampering our ability to see the full spectrum of alternative splicing happening in transcripts, so discovering UltraMarathonRT has been a game-changer. The new uMRT DRS Kit seamlessly integrates into the ONT direct RNA sequencing protocol and gives us fantastic results. We will definitely use it for our direct RNA sequencing moving forward."
